If you’re trying to make healthier choices to kick off 2021, that doesn’t mean that your lunchtime salad has to be boring. Why not elevate your salad experience by making your very own dressing? With sussed’s Healthy Heart Rapeseed oil and a few other store cupboard ingredients, you could have a tasty dressing in no time at all. Also making your dressing in a glass jar is fool proof and an easy storage idea too!
Here’s one of our favourite dressings that is super simple to make:
1 tbsp French mustard
1 tbsp honey
1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
1 tsp sussed balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp cider vinegar
6 tbsp sussed healthy heart rapeseed oil
salt and pepper, to taste
STEP 1
Put the mustard, honey, garlic, sussed balsamic and cider vinegar in a food processor and whiz together.
STEP 2
With the motor still running, pour the sussed healthy heart rapeseed oil in through a funnel.
STEP 3
Season with salt and pepper and serve. Another option would be to put all the ingredients into a jar, seal with lid and shake hard!
STEP 4
Pour over salad or place in fridge and consumer within 3 days
